Educational Qualifications:

  • Minimum secondary school diploma or graduation certificate.

Years of Experience:

  • While prior experience in caregiving is a plus, we also welcome candidates who are new to the field but have a compassionate and patient attitude.

Work Site Environment:

  • You'll primarily work in the homes of elderly clients, providing care and support in a familiar and comfortable setting.

Willing to Relocate:

  • This position is open to individuals already residing in Canada.

Responsibilities: As a Home Support Worker at Surework Home Care Solutions, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Running errands, meal planning, and grocery shopping.
  • Performing light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and organized environment.
  • Offering companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, following medical advice when necessary.
  • Administering medications as required.
  • Maintaining a safe environment and promptly reporting any unusual incidents or behaviors.

Credentials:

  • Preferably possess a driver's license and have access to a registered and insured vehicle.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and upbeat attitude.

Work Conditions:

  • This role may involve working irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of elderly clients.
  • You will work directly in the homes of clients, adapting to different living environments.
