Prosper Immigration Inc., a firm specializing in Pro Bono Placement and Recruitment Services as well as Licensed Immigration Services, is seeking dedicated Personal Care Attendants (PCA) to join there team. They have opportunities available in various locations across Ontario, Canada.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or other relevant education/certification in Nursing or as a Personal Care Attendant.

Years of Experience

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.

Work Site Environment

  • Willingness to work out of client residences.

Willing to Relocate

  • Open to various locations in Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing care and companionship to individuals and families during their time of need or family disruption.
  • Administering bedside and personal care to clients, including aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and undressing.
  • Planning and preparing meals and special diets, as well as assisting in feeding clients.
  • Performing routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medication, and collecting specimens under the general direction of the supervisor or Registered Nurse.
  • Undertaking general housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes, and making beds.

Credentials

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Excellent English and communication skills.
  • Minimum CLB Level 6 English proficiency.
  • Willingness to learn and work hard.

Work Conditions

  • Work hours: Weekdays from 9:30 AM to 5 PM.
  • Employer will provide accommodation and food.
